Puggle News

August 2008 - The BBC has aired a revealing documentary on the health of a number of well-known pedigree breeds, including the Pug. Shockingly ignorant and greedy breeder practices were also revealed, including the culling of healthy Rhodesian Ridgeback pups. This highlights the need to check-out any breeder, pedigree or otherwise, before buying a pup, especially making sure to ask what health tests are completed, and how the results of these affect breeding.

July 2008 - Dogs Today magazine will be featuring a column by Bruce Fogle (founder of the Portman Veterinary Clinic) on Puggles. Good food for thought for Pug breeders!

July 2007 - BEWARE PUGGLE FRAUDSTERS! A Puggle fan has been in touch as they were scammed by some fake Puggle breeders. Money was paid but no pups ever existed. The police have been told, but these fraudsters may still be at large, so BEWARE! Please get in touch if you are concerned and want more info about this.

March 2007 - Puggles featured in the Independent! This is Maggie from Stow Maries, Essex, who appeared in the Independent during Crufts week as part of a big article on cross breeding. Thanks to Lisa for letting us have the pics from the professional photographer.
